Sam, Heidi and Summer Vacation

Sam Seems to be loving summer vacation. Each morning since it has started he asks me is it summer vacation? Yesterday when I told him it was he said "Summer vacation! YES!" He is so excited to have a break from school.

Heidi on the other hand seems to be missing it. This morning when I asked her to get dressed she asked me if it was a school day. I said no. Then she asked me if we were going anywhere. I said no and She said to me "what's the point". That is so Heidi. She has enjoyed her free time but is starting to get bored.

Joshua is loving summer vacation. He has someone to play with all the time. But when he needs a break from Sam and Heidi He goes and hides out with his dad in the back room.

Daddy no teeth

"Daddy no teeth" is what my children have been to referring to daddy since last Friday when he had all of his teeth removed. It has been more of an adjustment than I expected getting use to Mike with no teeth. I expected the way he talked would be different but it has been hard for me to understand him. What is most interesting to me is how different his face looks without his teeth. In any case, it is taking some time to get use to the change. The kids have been much more willing to brush their teeth now. : )

gifting game gift

For responding to Emily's blog I was sent the most beautiful bracelet and earrings. I would post a picture but I do not have a camera to do that. So I will do my best to describe them, though a photo would be much better. They are made of a variety of blue beads. Some are very elegant and some are simple with lovely shapes. I really like them. Thank you so much Emily!

kids do funny things

At breakfast this morning mike was pouring milk for the kids when he commented that we must have ice in our milk because of the clunking around in the jug. That is very common for us, our fridge does funny things. Anyway then Joshua commented that He had put a spoon in the milk. lol. Sure enough there is a spoon in our milk. Kids are funny.
