Heidi's back to normal

Heidi slept well all night. She woke up this morning back to her normal self as though nothing ever happened. I took her to the doctor and he said she looked great. He says that if you get a virus in your intestines as it gets pushed through it can cause great pain and mimic signs of appendicitis. he thinks that's what happened. In any case it is so good to have Heidi back to her sweet wonderful self.

Poor Heidi

Spent over 6 hours at the ER today with Heidi. She was having sever abdominal pain and Possible Appendicitis. Poor Heidi was in so much pain she could not even walk. After many hours and many tests. They concluded that they did not know what was wrong with her. She started feeling better by the time we left but you could tell that she is not cured of whatever she has. She is still walking bent over slightly. So they sent us home and said to go see a doctor in 12 hours. Or if she gets worse. Right now she is sleeping peacefully. Hopefully she will feel better tomorrow.

Heidi said that her favorite part of being at the ER is when they took X-rays of her body. She didn't mind the ultra sound either. Everything else seemed to terrify her. I sure love my Heidi girl! I am glad she is doing fine for now.

Rain Rain Rain

I love Rain! It rains so seldom here that when it does I just cherish those moments. It has been raining off and on for almost two days now. It has been nice to enjoy the smell of fresh fallen rain, the clean fresh air that the rain brings and the cool air. I like to open my windows and just listen to the rain and the wind. I even like to go out and stand in it a little bit just to feel it fall on my face and arms and hands. Yep I love rain. I guess that love for Oregon sunshine still lives inside me, probably always will.
