Heidi Baptism

Heidi was Baptized on Sunday August 7, 2011. It was a wonderful Baptism.

We have had a winter full of lots of snow fall for us. It has been fun and long. And I think I can say for all of us. We are ready for spring to come.

Cub Scout Day Camp

Well, Sam and I made it through a week of Cub Scout Day Camp. Sam had a lot of fun. He was so excited about going that that was all he was talking about a week before hand. Then Tuesday morning after one day of camp, I woke him up and said we had to get ready for day camp and he said day camp days are long days. He is so cute. By Thursday morning the first thing he said about day camp was "this is the last day right". Friday morning he cried when I told him we had to go. LOL. He has had such a great week but it sure has wore him out. He did really well.

He shot the BB gun and had a blast doing that. The first day he was really excited about shooting it. We helped him hold the gun right and shoot it. There was just enough kick back from that BB gun into his shoulder that one shot was enough for him, He was done. Good news though, he did shoot the rest of the week and had a blast with it. We just held the gun differently.

He also shot the Bow and Arrow too. That was a little more challenging for him but he really liked it and on his last day of shooting he hit two bulls eyes.

He was able to pass lots of stuff off and earned a couple of badges.

I had a great time. I learned a lot. And I just enjoyed spending time with Sam and being outside.

Fishing

We have started to take the kids fishing. They really like it and have a great time.

Sam Has a Wheel on the end of his pole. He didn't want a hook. That was fine for me. That way he could cast and reel it in with out my help.

And in the end someone always ends up wading in the water.

I really enjoy going fishing with the family. I hope Mike keeps this up. We live so close to the river that it doesn't take much to go fishing. I think we could walk to point mallard to go fishing we live that close to the river. The kids really have fun and only last about 45 min. But then we come home and mike will go back out by himself. Which is nice for him.

At the Aquarium

Joshua had a good time.

Actually everyone had a great time. We all really enjoyed different things too. I loved all of it but the best part was the great time I had with my family.

Can you guess Sam's favorite thing? It was in the "jungle" part...

He's looking at it in this picture and even reached out and touched it even though he was not suppose to. Do you see it?

We had a great trip and look forward to going again this summer.

Missing Teeth.

Love that smile. One day hopefully his two front teeth will grow back in. : )
